![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hammer Spin will give players more mobility and allow them to escape particularly tricky situations where they may be surrounded. Find your Torchlight 2 save folder, usually under Documents/My Games/Runic Games/Torchlight 2/save. Nimble Flames will provide protection during melee and should be invested in early and often if possible. Each of the four classes has three skill trees unique to them. The necessary support skills to make this build work are: Each class can use any weapon, but each class is better at using individual kinds of weapon than another. In both cases, you want to invest points in your ranged damage skills and put your skill points into a split of str and dex. Each class has access to hundreds of different weapons in ten different categories. Players will also want to invest in several support skills for melee combat against more formidable enemies and bosses. There are two that spring to mind: the Gunlander (ranged basic attack outlander, using a shotgonne) and the Cannonneer (ranged basic attack engineer, using a cannon). Players could swap Sword Smash for Blazing Pillar if preferred the goal with that skill is to spend Relic Energy on a powerful attack. Players should reserve Pound as an active ability to use when the Endurance bar is full for maximum impact. My current choices in those categories are Torchlight 2 and Icewind Dale. Pound adds an Endurance bonus buff for the player, strengthening their Basic Attacks. Couldn't even imagine what adding all that dps from another character would make the game like.Apart from Basic Attack, which will be a primary damage source, there are a few core skills that make this build unique. I have a level 100, dual wielding engineer that uses emberquake/forcefield spam currently on NG+++ and even on elite difficulty, I can destroy content by myself. If you want to be "da best", a prismatic bolt embermage build with an emberquake/focrefield engineer would essentially remove all challenge from the game. What I will say is that the Focus stat is massively OP in the vanilla (un-modded) game. The first 30 levels happen quickly, so you should get a feel for your build pretty quick. The outlander is a gun slinging dual wielder with some potent magic spells, the embermage is the magic wielder with a focus on elemental casting. This build is all about dual wielding Wands and spamming elemental. Any class that can build around elemental damage skills/weapons benefits from having most, if not all, of the NON-REFUNDABLE attribute points put into Focus. Especially if you are playing with 2 people, essentially any combo of 2 characters should be able to handle all content, even on higher difficulties. Torchlight II has four all new classes to play. builds of the Outlander class for you to customize. It scales ALL elemental damage without diminishing returns, increases your mana pool, and adds execute % chance for auto attacks while dual wielding. Especially if you are playing with 2 people, essentially any combo of 2 characters should be able to handle all content, even on higher difficulties. Not sure what your ARPG experience is, but TL2 is fairly casual compared to others in the genre (PoE, D3, etc). ![]()
